Newburgh, NY - Good Will FD responded to reports of a vehicle striking a pedestrian at 60 Route 17K on January 15th. New York State Police, Town of Newburgh EMS and Town of Newburgh Police were at the scene. The subject was transported to Montefiore/St. Luke's Hospital where they were pronounced deceased. New York State Police reconstruction team responded and Town of Newburgh Police assisted with reconstructing the scene. An investigation by the New York State Police is ongoing.
