Chichester, NH — 1st January — The Chichester Fire Department took some time to consider the previous year of community service as 2026 got underway. In 2025, firefighters and emergency medical services responded to a variety of emergencies, underwent frequent training, and assisted with townwide community events.

In order to keep crews ready for both routine calls and difficult emergencies, department officials stated that teamwork and continuous training remained a top focus. The year also demonstrated the dedication of volunteers who managed their time between job and family obligations. The agency posted images of training, emergency situations, and ordinary events that shaped the year. As the department anticipates another year of service, firefighters, EMS staff, and community supporters were recognized for their ongoing commitment.
