Canterbury, NH — 14th January — On a mutual assistance assignment, Canterbury NH Fire & Rescue firefighters rushed to help a nearby fire department. Crews were sent out to assist with operations and supply extra staff and resources as needed. In order to guarantee sufficient coverage during active occurrences, mutual aid responses are essential, particularly when nearby departments face higher demand or prolonged operations. In order to support scene operations and remain prepared for calls inside their own community, Canterbury staff collaborated with other agencies.

Strong mutual aid ties, according to officials, enable departments to operate effectively across town limits and guarantee uniform service for locals. In order to emphasize the value of collaboration and shared accountability in emergency services operations, Canterbury NH Fire & Rescue is still dedicated to helping nearby departments whenever help is needed.
