NEW WINDSOR, NY - Vails Gate FD responded to a reported structure fire at 116 Bethlehem Road on January 15th. On arrival, Vails Gate Command requested a second-alarm sounded which brought the Washingtonville FD and City of Newburgh FD to the scene. Firefighters stretched one line to the rear of the residence where heavy fire was found. At the 20 minute status check, all fire was confirmed knocked down and firefighters began hitting hot spots. New Windsor Police and EMS were also at the scene, as well as Deputy Fire Coordinator 36-14, and Central Hudson was called for a power cut.
