Kingston Fire, Mutual Aid Knock Down Afternoon Fire

Kingston, NH — 4th January — A reported structure fire near 5 Shendoar Road prompted the Kingston Fire Department, which is based at 148 Main St. in Kingston, New Hampshire, to react. A first alert was sent out to get more resources to the area while businesses were on their way.


When Engine 3 arrived, the detached garage was completely engaged. After extending a hoseline, crews started suppressing the situation. The fire was put out in the afternoon by Kingston Fire and mutual aid organizations. Firefighters performed overhaul operations after the garage collapsed. One person with burn injuries was taken from the area. Exeter, Plaistow, East Kingston, Danville, Newton, Hampstead, Merrimac, Haverhill, Epping, Amesbury Ambulance, Fremont, and Brentwood all offered mutual aid support.
