Wethersfield Fire Department Mourns the Loss of Jay

Following Jay's death, the Wethersfield Volunteer Fire Department expressed its condolences on behalf of the department's chiefs and employees. Given the close ties that exist within the fire service community, the department sent its deepest sympathies to both Jay's immediate family and his wider fire service family. Because of the strong bonds formed over years of common training, responses, and dedication to public safety, losses within the service are felt beyond of specific areas.
