December 23, 2025— South Foster Volunteer Fire Company responded at approximately 6:07 p.m. to a reported structure fire at a residence in Foster. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered fire showing from the rear of the home and quickly deployed hose lines while initiating ventilation operations. Crews were able to contain the fire to the attic area and extinguish it before it could spread further into the structure. All occupants had safely exited the home prior to the arrival of fire units, and no injuries were reported. Firefighters remained on scene to complete overhaul and ensure the fire was fully extinguished.
