Chopmist Hill Firefighters Assist at Working Fire in Glocester

December 17, 2025— Chopmist Hill Volunteer Fire Department responded on mutual aid at approximately 12:30 p.m. when Tanker 61 was dispatched to the Town of Glocester to assist with a working fire on Putnam Pike in the West Glocester Fire and Rescue district. Six members responded and assisted crews on scene with checking for fire extension and performing overhaul operations. Chopmist Hill personnel operated at the incident for approximately one and a half hours before being released and returning to service.
