December 14, 2025— Cumberland Fire Department announced that Harpswell’s 2025 EMT class has officially completed its training and is now in the process of obtaining National Registry certification and state licensure. The program was made possible with support from Southern Maine Community College and was conducted at Brunswick Landing. Department officials thanked SMCC for its partnership in helping bring the program to completion and congratulated the students on reaching this important milestone as they prepare to enter emergency medical service roles in their communities.
