NEW BRITAIN, CT - A vacant home was heavily damaged by fire at 212 Clark Street around 9:30 P.M. on January 11th. Firefighters had fire in the basement spreading up through the walls on arrival. The temperature at the time was 7-degrees, making firefighting a little more difficult. It took several hours to fully put the fire out. The cause is under investigation.
