Lakeland NY.. Just before 8pm a SCPD ES Unit was in the right place at the right. time . SCPD and Lakeland fire dept were activated for a reported car into a frozen pond at 500 Peconic st in Ronkonkoma . Suffolk emergency service unit arrived to find a suv with two tires into the pond with the driver still in drivers seat. Acting quickly ES officers attachéd the rear of the suv to their unit and pulled the suv back over the edge of the pond. The female driver was still in the front seat was removed and taken to a area hospital for her injuries by Lakeland fire department ambulance
