UNITY, NH — Jan. 6 — On January 6, the Unity Fire Department Association was called to a reported single-vehicle collision on the Second New Hampshire Turnpike. Golden Cross Ambulance and Unity Fire were sent in response to reports of several patients.
When emergency workers arrived, they discovered that every person inside the car had already self-extricated. EMS and fire personnel assessed patients and administered care as required. There were no known life-threatening injuries. While EMS performed patient assessments, firefighters helped with traffic management and scene safety. All units were cleared and put back into service when operations were finished and the road was made safe.
