December 25, 2025 — Lisbon Fire Department extended Christmas greetings to the community while recognizing the dedication of its call-company firefighters and members of the Lisbon Professional Firefighters Local 5451. While many residents spent the holiday with family, Lisbon firefighters remained on duty, responding to three calls for service throughout the day, including a building fire in a neighboring community.

Department officials expressed gratitude for the continued trust and support of the public, noting that it is an honor to serve and protect residents and visitors on Christmas Day and every day of the year.
