December 18, 2025 — West Greenwich Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 provided mutual aid during the morning hours, responding with Ladder-25 and Engine-22 to assist the Hianloland Fire Department at the scene of a reported chimney fire. Crews worked alongside local firefighters to investigate and mitigate the incident, ensuring the fire was safely controlled and preventing further extension. Units were later released after completing their assignments and returned to service.
