December 31, 2025 — West Greenwich Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 responded on mutual aid during the evening hours to assist Exeter Fire District No. 1 at the scene of a structure fire. Tanker-23 was dispatched to support fire suppression operations, marking the department’s second mutual aid response to a structure fire that evening.
In addition, Ladder-25 was relocated to Exeter to provide coverage while crews operated at the incident. Firefighters worked alongside regional partners to ensure continued protection for both communities during the active response.
