December 19, 2025 — Lake Mishnock Fire Department responded during the afternoon hours to an incident involving a propane tank that was damaged after being struck by a fallen tree.
Due to the hazardous nature of the situation, mutual aid was requested from the Hope Valley–Wyoming HazMat, whose members responded promptly to the scene. HazMat personnel safely mitigated the hazard by flaring off the remaining propane contained in the tank, eliminating the immediate danger to the surrounding area.
