BRISTOL, RI - Bristol Fire Department responded to a structure fire just after 3 p.m. on January 3rd, finding heavy fire conditions that had already advanced throughout much of the building upon arrival. Firefighters worked aggressively to contain and bring the fire under control, preventing further extension despite challenging conditions. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident. The Rhode Island State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire. Department officials expressed appreciation to mutual aid partners who assisted on scene and provided coverage within the town during the incident.
