Georgetown Fire & EMS and the Georgetown Volunteer Fire Company were called to Orchard Drive on December 29 in response to a complaint of a tree falling onto a car. Ambulance 117-4, Engine 31, and Car 1 arrived at the scene. When the personnel arrived, they discovered a car that had been hit by a tree. EMS assessed and transported a patient with non-life-threatening injuries. To maintain safety around the damaged car, firefighters guarded the area and provided assistance as needed. In order to help with traffic control and the removal of the fallen tree, the Redding Highway Department and the Redding Police Department were also there.
