Rupert Volunteer Fire Department Announces 2026 Officers
Jan. 6, 2026 — The Rupert Volunteer Fire Department held its annual election of officers Tuesday evening, setting the leadership team for the 2026 year.
Members elected Jimmy-Joe Lewis as Chief, with George Fisher serving as 1st Assistant Chief and Paul Mychack as 2nd Assistant Chief. The position of Captain will be appointed by the chiefs at the department’s February business meeting.
The department also elected its administrative officers, with Malachi Schnaderbeck named President, Brett Lourie elected Vice President, Kelly Lewis as Treasurer, and Savannah Reed as Secretary. Brett Lourie was additionally elected to serve a five-year term as Trustee.
Department members congratulated all those elected and thanked them for stepping forward to lead and support the Rupert community in the coming year.
