During the week of December 14–20, Arkport Hose Co. #1 Inc. responded to multiple emergency situations throughout the area. Arkport was sent on mutual aid to the Canaseraga Fire Company on Sunday, December 14, at 4:44 a.m. While workers battled a structural fire in the Town of Grove, one engine was initially kept on standby in Canaseraga. Due to concerns of potential entrapment, the assignment was later increased to a full reaction to the scene. A dog and one patient were saved from the house. Medic 2, Tanker 9, and Engine 43 reacted.
Crews were called to the 7000 block of Airport Road in the Town of Hornellsville at 9:56 a.m. on Tuesday, December 16, due to a reported gas odour inside a home. Car 2 and Engine 69 arrived and looked into the situation. Arkport units were called to the 8000 block of State Route 36 in the Town of Dansville on Wednesday, December 17 at 5:50 p.m. due to a diabetic emergency. When they got to the scene, Medic 2, Car 2, and Car 201 were cancelled. Livingston County ALS and Dansville Ambulance were also on their way.
At 11:45 a.m. on Thursday, December 18, crews arrived at the intersection of County Route 65 and State Route 36 in the Town of Hornellsville to react to a two-car motor vehicle collision that resulted in injuries and blocked the road. Hornell City Ambulance transported one patient, but refused to transport the other. New York State Police provided on-site assistance when Engine 69, Medic 2, and Car 2 arrived. At 6:36 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, Arkport received a vehicle crash notification in the Town of Hornellsville's 7000 block of Doorley Road, making it the last call of the week. Hornell Ambulance, Rescue 38, and Car 2 arrived. Additionally, the Steuben County Sheriff's Office provided assistance.
