Tractor-Trailer Into Residence Draws Multi-Agency Response in Masonville

MASONVILLE, NY - A tractor-trailer was reported to have penetrated a home on December 24, 2025, prompting the Masonville Volunteer Fire Department. The truck driver was unharmed, and the first responding officers verified that the house was empty.
The Walton Fire Department, New York State Police, Delaware County Sheriff's Department, New York State DOT, NYSEG, Don Oralls Garage, and a local code enforcement officer were among the agencies with which firefighters coordinated and secured the situation. While Walton Fire helped with road closures in Walton, Masonville firefighters blocked State Highway 206 at the Masonville crossroads.
Throughout the incident, Delaware County 911 dispatchers offered assistance. Around 3:30 p.m., every unit went back into service.
