The Ferrisburgh Volunteer Fire Department welcomed a special guest to the station on December 20, 2025, as Santa Claus stopped by to spread holiday cheer throughout the community. Stationed atop one of the department’s fire apparatus, Santa waved to passing motorists, returning honks and smiles with plenty of holiday spirit.

Community members driving along Route 7 were invited to slow down, wave, and even pull in briefly for photos, making the visit a memorable moment for families and firefighters alike. The event offered a lighthearted pause during a busy season and highlighted the department’s strong connection with the community it serves.

Santa shared that his visit might be cut a bit short as preparations at the North Pole ramp up—possibly due to a few last-minute changes between the naughty and nice lists. Regardless, his appearance brought smiles, laughter, and a festive atmosphere to the firehouse.

Ferrisburgh Fire extends its thanks to everyone who stopped by or showed support during Santa’s visit and wishes all residents a Merry Christmas and a safe, happy holiday season.
