POCONO PINES, PA - April 18, 2025 commemorated the Tobyhanna Township Volunteer Fire Company's return to active service and its 95th anniversary. Station 41 since handled 220 service requests around the area. In addition to participating in community education and outreach initiatives for locals of all ages, members devoted several hours to training in fire, rescue, and medical operations.

Tobyhanna Township residents were recognized by department representatives for their unwavering support throughout the course of the year. The agency is encouraging community members to think about volunteering. There are opportunities for firemen, junior firefighters, fire police, EMS/QRS, and support jobs; no prior experience is necessary and training is offered.
