Station 41 Reflects on 95th Anniversary Year and 220 Calls for Service

While considering a busy and significant 2025 for Station 41, the Tobyhanna Township Volunteer Fire Company wishes locals a joyful and safe New Year. April 18 commemorated the department's return to active service and its 95th anniversary. Station 41 has since handled 220 service requests around the area. In addition to participating in community education and outreach initiatives for locals of all ages, members devoted several hours to training in fire, rescue, and medical operations.

Tobyhanna Township residents were recognized by department representatives for their unwavering support throughout the course of the year. The agency is encouraging community members to think about volunteering in 2026. There are opportunities for firemen, junior firefighters, fire police, EMS/QRS, and support jobs; no prior experience is necessar,y and training is offered.
