Slippery Roads Cause Multiple Accidents in Newburgh

Newburgh, NY - Area Fire Departments and EMS were busy on January 5th with slippery road conditions causing multiple accidents. Town of Newburgh Police handled two separate accidents on Route 52 . The first accident was at Old South Plank Road and South Plank Road. One subject was transported to Montefiore-St. Luke's Hospital by Town of Newburgh EMS. The second accident was just west of Old South Plank Road where a vehicle rolled over into the wooded area. One subject was evaluated at the scene. A third accident occurred on Interstate 84 eastbound just east of the entrance ramp of Route 300, where a vehicle rolled over into a ditch. The South Plank Road accidents were handled by Good-Will FD, and the Interstate 84 accident was handled by Winona Lake FD.
