Independence Township Fire-EMS acknowledged Firefighter Kayla Czambel for achieving a significant academic and career milestone. With a concentration in health and physical education and a minor in coaching, Czambel just earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Slippery Rock University. The degree demonstrates a solid academic background that fosters cooperation, leadership, and teaching abilities that are important in the fire and rescue services. Czambel will continue working for FireFighter Sales & Service Company, in addition to her academic accomplishments, as she prepares to enroll in the Beaver County Fire Academy in January.
