December 30, 2025 — Around 9:00 p.m., truck 161 from Glassport's Citizens' Hose Company No. 1 was sent on a fill-in duty to help the Jefferson Hills Fire-Rescue at a working home fire on Willem Road. Vehicle 161 was assigned as the first-due vehicle upon arrival. The team performed vertical ventilation on the roof and activated the aerial equipment for standby preparedness. Additionally, firefighters helped with overhaul and salvage work within the building. Operations continued for approximately two hours as crews worked alongside Jefferson Hills personnel to support suppression and cleanup efforts. Once assignments were completed, Truck 161 was released and returned to service.
