Broad Top, Pa. — December 14, 2025 — The R.W. & Broad Top Fire Company's Station 17 participated in the Wreaths Across America event at Broad Top Cemetery. The Watson and Black Post 126 American Legion arranged the event, which had a high level of community involvement. In honor of their service, volunteers came to lay wreaths on the graves of soldiers. Members of the fire department visited the graves of former department members and laid wreaths on the headstones of those who had served in the armed forces. During the Christmas season, the event offered a chance to think and show respect. The American Legion and other volunteers who contributed to the event's careful and respectful execution were thanked by department members.
