On Saturday, December 27, members of Marion Volunteer Fire Company 8 participated in a full morning of station chores and training At the Franklin County Fire Training Grounds, crews conducted early-morning live fire evolutions for almost four hours. Members rotated through many situations to emphasize fundamental engine business operations during training that concentrated on hose line installation and hose management.

Firefighters ate together after returning to their quarters and then finished their regular equipment inspections and cleaning. Every unit was cleaned, replenished, and put back into operation.
