West Leisenring Fire Department Reports 614 Calls for Service in 2025

The West Leisenring Fire Department published its annual call volume report at the end of 2025, detailing the variety of situations that its volunteers had responded to in the previous year.

In 2025, the department responded to 614 alerts in total. With 248 replies, vehicle accidents were the most common call type, followed by 65 structural fires and 90 automated fire alarms. Additionally, crews handled 30 brush or controlled fires, 46 EMS calls, and 58 storm-related occurrences. Eleven car fires, fourteen smoke or fire investigations, and fifteen odor or gas leak investigations were among the other answers. The department assisted with 11 flooding incidents, nine burning complaints, four police assists, and three elevator rescues. Firefighters also responded to three traffic hazards.
