Two-Car MVA with Injuries in New Windsor

NEW WINDSOR, NY - The New Windsor FD responded to a MVA with injuries at State Route 9W/Union Ave. on January 3rd. New Windsor Police and EMS were at the scene. Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to extricate one driver from a vehicle. Both drivers were transported to Montefiore-St. Luke's Hospital by New Windsor EMS. Northbound traffic was redirected east on Union Ave., while southbound traffic was down to one lane during the incident. Firefighters checked both vehicles for hazards. The New Windsor Police Dept. is investigating the cause.
