On the night of December 14, members of the Hope Volunteer Fire Department Station 38 met in the firehouse for their annual Christmas dinner, which was attended by family members and department supporters. During the occasion, Mike Marino, assistant chief, was awarded a plaque commemorating his ten years as department chief. The award acknowledged his long-term dedication and leadership within the company. Chief Pedersen addressed the crowd and thanked the firemen for their service over the year.
