On Saturday, December 21, members of the Washington Township Fire Department took part in their second annual Santa Run. As part of a Christmas outreach program, firefighters went across the township presenting presents to local kids. The event carried on a tradition centered on community engagement and had the same structure as the Santa Run from the previous year. Families came to participate in the event and collect donated presents while department personnel made many visits across the township.
