Instead of having the day off, members of the Frankford Township Fire Department chose to spend time in turnout gear and dedicate a portion of their Sunday to training on November 23, 2025. The exercise focused on basic fireground abilities that are essential for responding to emergencies. A number of inexperienced drivers practiced pump operations, going over engine controls, water supply, and pressure control. Simultaneously, a less experienced firefighter spent time getting acquainted with nozzles and handlines, acquiring practical expertise with water flow and hose handling.
