HILLSBOROUGH, NJ - Firefighter Jeff Perley received his Black Shield from Hillsborough Fire Company #3-Station 38 during its monthly business meeting, signifying the successful conclusion of his probationary term. Firefighter Perley finished a comprehensive training program that included the Hillsborough Fire District Module 1 and 2 package, Technical Rescue Awareness-level courses, and New Jersey Division of Fire Safety Firefighter I. The accomplishment, according to department leadership, shows a strong dedication to training and operational preparedness.
