Photo by RON JEFFERSFairview 3rd grade students that participated in the Fire Prevention Bureau's contest were honored with a dinner and trophies at La Fortuna Restaurant, November 14th. Previously, they had a ride in the department's new rescue-pumper. The restaurant tables contained Fire Prevention pads and pens. As students and parents left the restaurant, several stopped at the fire department's table and asked firefighters for their autographs, using their new pads and pens. Fire Inspector Pat Buglione, who spearheads the annual event, signed several autographs for the grateful students.
