    In Bass River Township (Burlington County), the New Gretna Fire Company operates Brush 4217, a 1984 Dodge Power ram with Knapheide body. It formerly served in Pleasant Plains (Ocean County.) It has a 250 gpm pump and 250 gallon water tank. Other features and equipment include a brush cage, ¾-inch booster reel, two whip lines, a six-ton winch, chain pulley, fire shelter, fittings and long handled tools.
