Ferrisburgh, Vt. — October 24, 2026 — The Ferrisburgh Volunteer Fire Department hosted a record attendance pancake breakfast on Saturday, serving 215 community members and raising funds for department needs.

The breakfast followed the department's involvement in Ferrisburgh's Monster Mash event on Friday evening, October 23, where firefighters joined families and children for Halloween festivities.

The annual breakfast took place at the fire station from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. Attendance grew from roughly 150 previous participants to 215 this year, marking a record high for the event.

Dakin Farm supplied the food for the breakfast event. The members also thanked Girl Scout Troop 60253, whose volunteers served the meal and assisted with the morning's activities.
