R.I. — September 28, 2026 — Cranston Country Club hosted the 10th annual Special Signal Fire Association fundraising golf tournament, with members, supporters and sponsors attending to support the Providence Canteen's continued operations.

The tournament gathered golfers and community supporters for a day of competition and fundraising. Frost in the morning postponed the play, and organizers expressed gratitude to participants for their patience once the event commenced.
