Damian Rosado and Ray Kennedy Honored at Firefighter of the Year Dinner

— October 16 — Connecticut firefighters and emergency personnel convened at the Aquaturf for the yearly Firefighter of the Year dinner. Bethel Fire & EMS members were honored for their community and department service. 

Assistant Chief Damian Rosado, 2025 recipient, and Chief Engineer Ray Kennedy, 2026 recipient, received honors at the event. The department and the community it serves recognized both officers for their contributions. 

The awards dinner united fire agency members from throughout the state to honor firefighters for their dedication and community service. The gathering allowed firefighters to network with colleagues and honor those recognized for their service.
