Downe Township, N.J. — October 17 — Members of the Downe Township Fire/Rescue and Dive Team participated in Downe Home Day at Downe Township Elementary School. They set up a table and interacted with community members.
Despite the cold weather, department staff used the event as a chance to engage with residents and share information about their services.
Downe Home Day was scheduled on the township’s October 2026 calendar as a family-oriented event that celebrated the community's history, current state, and future.
The event also provided support for the school's eighth-grade class.
