KENILWORTH, N.J. — October 2026 — Six Kenilworth Fire Department & Rescue Squad members recently earned Water Rescue Operations certification from All Hands Fire Training. This strengthens the department's ability to handle water emergencies.
Last week, the department announced the achievement, noting that specialized training helps members prepare to operate safely and effectively during water rescue incidents. The six participants spent time building the skills and knowledge necessary for these demanding tasks.
All Hands Fire Training provides multiple water-rescue courses covering surface water, swiftwater, boat, and ice rescue. The programs assist emergency responders in developing abilities appropriate to various water hazards and operational demands.
