Florence Township, N.J. — September 30 — Members of the Florence Township Fire Department recently completed their third-quarter live fire training for 2026 at the Burlington County Emergency Services Training Center in Westampton.
The training included hands-on practice with thermal imaging cameras during live fire scenarios, the use of pressurized water extinguishers to manage and contain fires while searching for people in need of rescue, and techniques for attacking basement fires from the basement entrance.
These exercises allowed firefighters to refine their skills in a controlled and safe training setting as part of the department’s continuous training efforts.
