Westfield, N.J. — October 11 — Recent graduates of the Westfield Fire Department Hazmat On-Scene Incident Commander course now have stronger expertise in hazardous materials response and incident management.
This program equips officers to handle hazardous material incidents, covering coordination of response efforts, risk evaluation, and protective decision-making for staff and the community.
Continuous learning and career growth are key to keeping operational readiness at a high level.
