On the afternoon of October 6th, members of the Gong Club, Inc., responded to a 3-alarm fire involving two Franklin Street dwellings in Jersey City.
This marked fire and emergency situations Run # 5000 for the organization since its inception in 1950.
Over the years, this volunteer organization has been made up of firefighters (career and volunteer), police officers, dispatchers, an FBI agent, businessmen, a mayor, authors, photographers, military veterans, and more.
