The department’s volunteer members have responded to emergencies and maintained their readiness through training and other department activities.
Tanker 18-19 was listed on the department’s official apparatus roster as a water tender equipped with a 2,500-gallon water tank and a 1,500-gallon-per-minute pump. This equipment was essential for providing water supply during firefighting operations, especially in areas where hydrants or other water sources were not available.
The dedication honored Badger’s continued role in the department and the importance of long-term service within the volunteer fire service.
