Jersey City Fire Foundation, Engine Co. 11 and High Rise-Tunnel Unit

Photo by RON JEFFERSOn October 1st, members of the Jersey City Fire Foundation, and members of Engine Co. 11 and the High Rise-Tunnel Unit, gave members of Proximo Spirits and Proper No. 12 a tour of the firehouse after renovations were made. The foundation thanked the company for their $50,000 "One for All" Grant that helped fund the renovations. Retired Deputy Chief Henry DiGuillo and off duty firefighters transformed the almost 40-year old kitchen into a new space. All new appliances, walls, flooring, cabinets, countertops, backsplash and lighting were installed. New turnout gear lockers were also acquired. The foundation presented the Proximo Spirits and Proper No. 12 representatives with a proclamation of appreciation.
