Dunn’s Corners Firefighters Completed Hazmat Refresher Training

On October 1, members of the Dunn’s Corners Fire Department took part in hazardous materials refresher training with the Hope Valley-Wyoming Fire District’s Hazmat Team, going over specialized response equipment and the resources available during a hazmat incident.
The session provided Dunn’s Corners firefighters with the chance to learn from the Hope Valley Hazmat team and examine how specialized resources can assist in operations involving hazardous materials. During the evening session, the Hope Valley team guided its members, imparting its experience and expertise in hazmat response equipment and procedures.
