PORTLAND, Maine — September 15, 2026 — The Portland Fire Department's Training Division congratulated Firefighter/Advanced Emergency Medical Technician ( FF/AEMT) Colin Quinn after he successfully completed his field training with MEDCU.
Quinn joined the department in April 2026 as a member of Fire Academy Class 26-40. Following his field training, he is assigned to the Pool, Platoon 2.
The completion of field training marks an important step in a firefighter's professional development, allowing personnel to apply their training and demonstrate their readiness for operational duties.
