Pomfret Center, Conn. — October 10, 2026 — The Pomfret Fire Department kept up its community fire-safety outreach by bringing Engine-Tank 270 to The Owl’s Nest Day School, Inc.
As part of the department’s ongoing fire-prevention education initiatives, firefighters met with the children. Visits like this allow young students to get acquainted with firefighters and fire vehicles while also learning about the vital role emergency services play in ensuring community safety.
